Why we created this blog:

Tired of over-analyzing our man conversations with each other, we're taking our thoughts and questions to the public.

The Binary Scale

So with the recent popularity of movies like No Strings Attached, male-female friendships (and those blurry lines in between) have been called into question. The 1989 classic "When Harry Met Sally" laid out the simple premise- men and women can never be friends. Sex will always get in the way. Harry even said it in the movie (even though he ended up with Sally in the end). My friend recently shared her old roommate (a dude's) explanation for male-female friendships. I've had several other guys agree to it. Here it is:
0- you will never be attracted to this woman whatsoever.
1-there is a remote possibility something could happen.

This is the problem- guys have no friend zone. Even if there is a girl who is a friend, she is not trapped in the f-z. With women, there are about 5 or so zones. We don't want to break them and risk ruining friendships- either with a guy we like or with a friend who used to like a guy etc...

Even if there is a girl who is a friend, she is not trapped in the f-z. We women spend so much of our time worrying about and making sure the boundaries of the f-z remains intact. And therein lies the problem.

How do you know he likes you?

Beats us. This is why we are blogging.

Does he.....

1. Ask you about your day?
2. Send flirty texts?
3. Watch a movie with you, even though he is in a different city/state?
4. Send you music? - The 2000's version of a mix tape.
5. Talk to you until you go to sleep?

These, we believe, might be telltale signs that he likes you. Commence with love songs playlist.
